Introducing the folding pocket knife Opinel N°08 SAMPO 002546, a limited edition masterpiece featuring a handle crafted from exquisite Finnish wood. In Finnish mythology, Sampo is a mythical artifact believed to bestow prosperity upon its owner, though its true form remains a mystery.
The blade, featuring a plain edge, is forged from 12C27 stainless steel and boasts a stunning mirror-polished finish. Whether open or closed, the blade is securely locked in place by the Virobloc safety ring.
The handle is meticulously crafted from sustainably sourced Karelian birch, native to the northern regions of Finland. This unique wood, originating from the Karelia region, develops its distinctive swirling, marble-like patterns due to the harsh growing conditions that cause the layers of soft and hard wood to form unevenly. As a result, each knife handle is truly one-of-a-kind.
