Product Description
The Technik H17 headlamp is primarily crafted for hiking enthusiasts, yet it proves equally effective for household tasks or DIY projects.
Constructed with a robust polycarbonate body, it features a thin rubber coating as the final finish, ensuring optimal resistance to external elements. It has been tested in factory crash tests up to 1.5 meters.
It offers a maximum luminous output of 250 lumens, powered by a CREE L2 LED. This premium LED boasts a lifespan of several thousand hours. Besides the maximum brightness, a lower brightness setting is also available.
Additionally, a red LED is included as an auxiliary light source, ideal for group hiking since red light is less blinding to the human eye and less noticeable to insects. A convenient feature is the motion sensor, allowing the headlamp to be turned on and off with a simple hand movement.
The two-button control interface is positioned at the top of the lamp. One button provides constant light, while the other manages the on/off function of the motion sensor.
It is powered by an integrated lithium polymer battery with an 800 mAh capacity. This high-quality cell endures hundreds of charge cycles. Charging is facilitated via the Micro-USB port located beneath the rubber cap at the lamp's base, completing the process in under 2 hours.
Thanks to the meticulous design of the lamp's components, it has achieved an IP65 dust and water resistance rating, indicating complete dust protection and resilience against small water streams. The headband is comfortable, rubberized, and adjustable, ensuring stable wear.
